When did you start podcasting?
The Deep Dive Report podcast launched August 22, 2016.
Why did you start podcasting? I’m a big fan of podcasts!
I learned so much from listening to different podcasts about numerous topics that I wanted to contribute and create my own.
What’s your show about?
The Deep Dive Report is a podcast that consists of panel discussions and one on one interviews with sports analysts, current and former athletes that talks about the business side of sports, along with the behind the scenes actions that takes place at all levels from little league to the professional ranks.
What’s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.
I use Ecamm Call Recorder to record Skype and phone calls from my MacBook.
For editing, I use GarageBand and Audacity.
As far as equipment, I use Audio Technica for headphones and a microphone.
How have you promoted your podcast?
I have promoted my podcast mainly through social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram).
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
I wish I knew more about editing audio in the beginning versus learning now from trial and error.
