When did you start podcasting?
I’m kind of a newbie to the world of podcasting, I launched by webshow + podcast 3 months ago and have a dozen episodes under my belt
Why did you start podcasting?
I knew that consistently putting out content to connect with my audience is important to growing my biz and the ability to reach/help more people. But, I found weekly blogging to feel like such a chore.
I decided that interviewing other entrepreneurs and telling their stories was much more exciting for me and my clients, so I started my weekly interview show.
What’s your show about?
A.C.E.- Adventures in Creative Entrepreneurship is a weekly interview show where we go behind the scenes of creative professionals for tips and tales from their business adventures.
If you’ve ever wondered how creative entrepreneurs at the top of their game got started and pulled it all off… this podcast gives great insight.
What’s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.
I have an Audio and Video set up. I host the interview virtually over GoToMeeting + record and edit via Screenflow. I use the tools in Call Recorder to strip the audio from mp4 –> mp3
How have you promoted your podcast?
I’ve run a few small Facebook ads and posted a few episodes in group sites, but just playing around with a few ideas. I’d love to hear more about this topic on The Feed!
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
That video adds a whole other level of time and expense to my show.
