OFFICIAL DISCOUNT RULES FOR THE THANKS, PODCASTING PROJECT
These rules apply to the Thanks, Podcasting Project.
Eligibility: All entrants and discount recipients must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. All giveaways and promotions are void where prohibited by law.
Entry Methods: No purchase is necessary to receive the discount for The Thanks, Podcasting Project, and the odds of receiving a discount will never be increased by any purchase made. The only mandatory or required entry into the project is to create a piece of audio outlined here. Liberated Syndication (Libsyn) is not responsible for any lost or delayed entries or technical errors. All erroneous entries, specifically those that did not adhere to entry rules, will not be considered.
Contest Period: Entries to The Thanks, Podcasting Project are from November 1 to November 29, 2015 up to 12am EST.
Agreement To Official Project Rules: Participation in The Thanks, Podcasting Project constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Libsyn, which are final and binding. Being awarded a discount is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Participant Discounts: Three discounts will be awarded, each of them consisting of a free year of podcast hosting with Libsyn. Existing Libsyn users that have a $40 or greater account will be awarded a free year at their current account level. Existing Libsyn users that have account levels below $40 can choose to upgrade to the $40 level for a full year for free. New Libsyn users will get a $40 level account for free for a full year. All discounts will be applied only to Libsyn accounts.
How Discount Winners are Chosen: Discounts will be awarded at by random drawing from qualifying entries, using Random.org, and announced via a special episode of the official Libsyn podcast The Feed. Odds of winning vary upon the number of entries received.
Participant Notification and the Claiming of Discounts: Discount recipients will be notified via the email provided at time of entry and also published in the corresponding blog post for The Feed episode in which the recipients were announced. Recipients will have 7 days to respond to the discount notification email or the offer will be forfeited and another recipient will be chosen by random draw. Account discount can not be transferred, given, sold or bartered to another person or entity. Only the designated recipient is eligible to receive the account discount. The discount can not be exchanged for cash or other services.
Discounts Not Received: Libsyn will not be held responsible for recipients not receiving their discount of a year of free podcast hosting. However, we will make every attempt to assist recipients in securing it. It is the recipient’s responsibility to make contact with a Libsyn by emailing [email protected] in a timely manner (within 30 days after the close of the giveaway) to report that their free year of hosting has not been discounted, or the offer may be void.
Privacy: Libsyn ensures that the confidentiality of any personal information provided is protected. We will never share or sell any personal information (email, address, phone) that you have provided. We will only use this information to contact you about your entry and/or prize.
License To Libsyn For Your Entry In The Thanks, Podcasting Project Libsyn does not warrant or endorse and does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility for your audio entry to this project, which belongs exclusively to you (“Your Content Entry”). You agree that you will not use any third-party materials in a manner that would infringe or violate the rights of any other party and that Libsyn is not in any way responsible for any such use by you. Through your submission of Your Content Entry, you are indemnifying Libsyn against all claims and liability related to Your Content Entry. Once you have publicly shared audio, video, photos, comments, or other materials (“User Content”) or made it public, that User Content may be re-shared by others, subject to social media privacy settings. By uploading content to social media with Libsyn specific hashtags (#podcast, #libsyn, #thankspodcasting) you grant (and represent you have the right to grant) Libsyn the non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty free, perpetual right to use and display your content and any of the concepts or ideas contained in it through Libsyn online and social media channels, for marketing and promotion, and to edit, stylize, crop, or modify your content as part of that use, all with no additional compensation or further notice to you, and without your additional approval. Additionally, while you do retain all of your legal rights, title, and interest in and to your content, you do grant Libsyn a non-exclusive, non revocable, royalty-free, perpetual worldwide right to use any content that you post.
