Q & A with The Oversell Podcast
When did you start podcasting?
We started in July of 2015.
Why did you start podcasting?
We had a love for wrestling and wanted to get together and record us talking about it once a week. We had been wanting to do something with wrestling for years. And finally we stopped talking about it and just did it.
What’s your show about?
The Oversell Podcast is about professional wrestling. Not just the WWE either, we are talking indie shows and interview independent wrestlers.
What’s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.
We use the Alesis USB 8 mixer, Garageband and Skype for interviews. We also use Mixlr to do broadcast our show live.
How have you promoted your podcast?
Twitter, Facebook, Promote The Tar Out Of Yourself podcast Friday, and have done something with a local wrestling show in TN.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
How to properly set up the inputs to have good levels with Skype. Our first interviews were a little low.
