Why did you start podcasting?
I’ve always been interested in fashion especially as it relates to subculture; and was trying to get engrossed in a project that would distract me from wanting to go to grad school!
What’s your show about?
Interviewing people who look good! About their style, their political, cultural and aesthetic interests….and subcultures.
What’s your podcasting set-up? Hardware, software, CMS, etc.
ATR 2100 microphone, cheapie PC laptop, Tascam dr–05 recorder, and skype!
How have you promoted your podcast?
Social media and word of mouth mainly.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
Honestly I’m so proud of myself that I figured it out alone using podcasts and books (!)…..I wish I’d known that if you’re having fun then fear of failure is utterly irrelevant.
